Welcome to the Sims United Working Club, the official club for the working breeds of the Sims United Kennel Club. The SUWC celebrates the vastly unique working breeds of the SUKC and strives to ensure their lasting mark in the kennel club world.
Hardy and resilient, the dogs of the working group were first bred many millennia ago as both companion and draught animal. Many working breeds found their niche in guarding flocks or property, overland transportation, and water rescue. Throughout history, mankind has relied on working dogs to do the jobs we just can't do, and they've done them better than we ever could.
WE'RE HIRING! More information can be found in the news below, or in the SUWC's thread on the SUKC forum. Apply Here

The SUWC is thrilled to announce its newest breed club affiliation, the Sims United Great Dane Breed Club. Owned and operated by Sparrow York of Esterden Kennel, the GDBC will host all manner of Great Dane-related conformation shows and provide a stud index of available brood Danes. We're thrilled to welcome this club to the community. Its link can be found under Links, Breed Clubs.

Welcome to the new year, ladies and gentlemen! With this new year comes some new updates. Firstly, the breed raffles will be on hold until further notice. Breed specialties will continue as normal. Secondly, the SUWC will begin to offer resources to the community, including pose packs and breed templates. These will be free and publically available. Thirdly, we will be introducing a new type of conformation show as a replacement for the current Breeder's Showcase. More information will be available closer to the time of the first show.
Also in the news, the SUWC is still seeking out junior judges. You can be willing to tackle the whole group or just individual breeds - anything helps! Part of the incentive is the experience you will gain as a judge, experience that will be vital in one day hosting a breed club of your own. On that topic, the SUWC will begin to recognize working group breed clubs that have been SUKC-approved. To host a breed club, you must have championed at least five dogs of that breed. We hope to see many breed clubs popping up in the future.

The month of August is approaching, and we've selected our August spotlights! Representing the big bad boys of the SUWC, we have a stunning Dogo Argentino owned by Lycabettus Kennel. Bari's Che of VRK is an extremely well balanced male with a wonderful head and neck, and athletic body. Our beautiful ladies are represented by Angelic's Les Miserables at Damascus, owned by Azantyr. Bred from solid gold lines from two of the oldest competitors on the SUKC, this exceptionally balanced bitch has all the attitude we've come to expect from a Damascus dog.

The SUWC is hiring! With the expansive growth we've lately experienced, the SUWC is in need of another new, permanent co-judge. If you're interested in judging, or in being a part of the largest competition club on the SUKC, we welcome your application!
The successful applicant will, ideally, have some prior experience judging dogs, but it's not a requirement. They must be in good standing with the SUKC (no warnings or points against their account), they must have at least 60 days on the forum, and they must actively show at least one dog in the working group. The application will be kept open until a suitable applicant is found. Best of luck to all who apply! We look forward to working with you.

It's been a long time! The SUWC's 1st Anniversary Raffle, which was delayed by nearly two months due to scheduling conflicts, will wrap up tonight. We hope everyone has enjoyed this new feature, and we look forward to continuing it into the future.
March was also Doberman Pinscher Month at the SUWC, and we've sourced two very promising young puppies for the occasion. They've been shown a few times under the SUWC's banner, and they'll be for sale come April 1. You can check them out under Events > Breed Auctions.
And lastly, we'd like to introduce you to our new spotlights for the month of April. Our special boy is a wonderfully put together young puppy named Daia's Noble Drakeneal the Heavenly, owned by Rattie's Paradise. Representing the up and coming ladies of the SUWC, we have Paso Libre's Caol Ila Von Mendi, a stunning young Rottweiler bitch bred by long-time Rottweiler breeder Paso Libre Kennel, and owned by Valinor Kennel. We're very excited to see both of these dogs grow and mature in the ring.
